Angus

Dogs have always been a part of my life - my family often had two at a time. Over the years, we also welcomed our friend’s dogs into our home for boarding, adding even more paws to the mix.

In 2021, we rescued our boy Angus (Gus), who came with his own set of challenges. He taught us to adjust our expectations for an adolescent dog. I took charge of his training and with the support of our amazing trainer, Patti, we all worked hard (Gus included) to help him become a successful member of the family.

In 2022, I decided to add a puppy to the family, and Sirius Black joined us. Gus and Sirius became fast friends, but like all puppies, Sirius needed guidance. Our training journey began, and I was fortunate to use our trainer’s daycare program, which allowed Sirius to socialize and receive additional training once a week.

Though I grew up in Hamilton, I moved to Tillsonburg last year, and Sirius made the move with me. My parents are my main support system when my partner and I travel or work at the same time. Knowing that they care for Sirius and meet her every need brings me peace of mind—something I want to offer to other families.

And so, Sirius Dog Care was born. My goal is to provide a trusted resource for families, so they can feel confident that their dog is in good hands. Whether it's regular or occasional walks, quick potty breaks, or in-home dog sitting, Sirius Dog Care is here to help!
